METROPIA

Can’t believe I managed to miss the movie Metropia when it was first released a couple of years ago, the art direction and animation look amazing and I’m sure if I’d heard about it I’d have made every effort to see it.  Still, better late than never.  Made and set in Sweden (but in English) in a not-too-distant dystopian future…

It’s available on both DVD and Bluray for Euro-viewers but in the US I can only see the DVD version available – however lucky Amazoners in the US can watch it online immediately.  I wish Amazon would hurry up and make this streaming service available in the UK too – and no LOVEFiLM doesn’t count…
